Future Research Initiatives (Concept Clearances)

Concepts represent early planning stages for initiatives in which NIDCR seeks to support research in an understudied and significant area of science. Council approval does not guarantee that a concept will become a program announcement (PA), request for applications (RFA), or request for proposals (RFP). NIDCR bases this determination on scientific and programmatic priorities balan​ced with the amount of funds available.
