Biographical Sketch
As director of the NIDCR Office of Clinical Trials Operations and Management (OCTOM), Anna Nicholson is responsible for managing the processes that protect human subjects participating in NIDCR clinical trials. These processes include data and safety monitoring, clinical site monitoring and reporting, quality management, and clinical research operations for adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
Prior to joining NIDCR, Ms. Nicholson served as a clinical research operations manager for NIH’s National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMS) and a project manager at a contracting research organization. She earned her Master of Health Science degree in Clinical Research Administration at George Washington University.
