Marco Crosby is the Deputy Chief Information Officer, and Office of Information Technology Deputy Director for the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research. Mr. Crosby is a seasoned Information Technology (IT) support professional with over 33 years of experience providing exceptional IT support to both intramural and extramural customers. Throughout his career, Mr. Crosby has demonstrated a commitment to delivering outstanding IT support and customer service, proactively developing strategies that effectively recognize, report, track, and document problem resolutions. Understanding the critical role of IT in supporting scientific endeavors, Mr. Crosby engages with stakeholders to develop technical strategies, plan projects, coordinate, and implement effective solutions for identifying, reporting, and resolving technical issues, always ensuring clear communication.
Mr. Crosby has led numerous initiatives aimed at enhancing customer experience, particularly focusing on meeting the needs of Principal Investigators and staff. His responsibilities have included managing IT inventory and the full lifecycle of scientific, computational biology, and administrative systems crucial to supporting the institute’s programs and missions.
